Bill Horist and Miss Massive Snowflake had a wonderful time performing at the North Pole on Friday, February 17th. I painted while Bill improvised with his arsenal of objects and a guitar perched on his lap. This painting is aroung 5 feet by 3 1/2 feet or so, it is of my Fender Champ. There were red and blue lights on the stage and hence the colored drips. MMS did a semi-slurred rap set along with video interactivity as well as some acoustic numbers that Mr. Horist played along on. There are plans for a summer tour for these two weirdo's.

While we were in Italy we also had the wonderful experience of being able to paint with some disabled adults. It was strange for a little while since my Italian is small, but once we began creating together we all spoke the language of art and happiness. Meredith says that she has never seen Mae as happy as when she was helping the folks paint.
Our show has now moved over to Kobo in Milan and will be on exhibition the entire month of February.
The photo of all the people is a group shot of all the people who made this happen. The musicians of Hormiga, my family, Mae, and of course Stefania.

Here is some photos of the closing night in Vedana Olona. I did the painting that night with my hands after being inspired by Mae. fun fun

Mae Starr and I just returned from a two week trip to Northern Italy where we had a couple of art exhibitions. Here we are at one in Villa Faraforni in Vedana Olona. We improvised music and painted with members of Hormiga at the opening and closing shows. That is the mayor of Vedana Olona and the paintings that we did are now part of the city's permanent collection. There were wonderful turnouts of people despite there being three feet of snow.
